Claire
An English & ASD teacher and mum of two, Claire reads widely and always pushes beyond her comfort zone. She’s curious, thoughtful, and has a soft spot for the books that stay with you long after the last page.

Rebecca
Balancing farm life in Mid-Cork with motherhood and her love of reading, Rebecca is our heart-on-sleeve reader. She brings the feels, whether it’s swooning over a romance or sobbing through a story that cuts deep.

Together, we make sure no conversation is boring and no book is off-limits.

About the Hosts

Claire

Claire, a busy mum to two small kids, brings her passion for reading to Another Chapter.
With years of experience as an English teacher and a genuine love for books, Claire offers insightful commentary and engaging discussions on a variety of genres. Her style is light and fun but she’s also not afraid to delve into deeper and more meaningful topics.
Claire’s reading habits have evolved over recent years and while she still enjoys page-turning thrillers, she loves stepping outside her comfort zone and trying books across the whole spectrum of genres.
Claire has a huge love for Anne of Green Gables, which holds deep sentimental value for her. She will always recommend that you read The Last Lifeboat by Hazel Gaynor and promises that someday she will stop raving about Cork-born author Andrea Mara.

Rebecca

Rebecca is a teacher and mom of three who lives on a farm in Mid-Cork. She likes to think she brings warmth and wit to Another Chapter, and very much appreciates the space to talk incessantly about books. When she’s not corralling kids or helping with the cows, she’s diving deep into stories that make her swoon or sob. Whether it’s a heart-melting romance or a novel that leaves her emotionally wrecked, Rebecca's recommendations always hit the right spot for fans of love stories and tear-jerkers alike!
Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir is the book she wishes everyone else would read and love as much as she does.
The Remains of the Day by Kazuo Ishiguro, How to Build A Boat by Elaine Feeney and In Memoriam by Alice Winn are the books she would gift everyone.
